Rumor has it: Apple is planning to drop the traditional home button in the next generation iPhone and iPads and replace it fingerprint sensor. This would mean that iPhone 7 is going to come with a bigger screen.
According the latest news report published in DigiTimes, ‘Apple is internally developing touch and display driver integration (TDDI) single-chip solutions for its iPhones, according to sources in Taiwan’s IC design industry.’ This new technology i.e. TDDI will have integrated fingerprint sensors. Since the future generation phones are expected to be thinner, so integration of such technology is perfectly suitable. This rumor about doing away with the home button in the next generation iPhone has been confirmed by reliable reporters who have given precise news earlier. However, they were of the opinion that removing the home button is a long term goal of the company and it would not be seen before two years.
Moreover, a test version of iOS 9 was released by the Cupertino giant lately and after analyzing the features of this OS thoroughly, developer Hamza Sood has said that we can expect future generation iPhones to come with better front facing camera along with better video recording capabilities and flash. In addition the code also revealed that the front facing camera will have the ability to capture panoramic selfies.
There are also rumors that iPhone 7 will be released in 2017 instead of 2016. However, it is too early to speculate about the release date of this gadget. We will keep updating our readers, so stay with us for more news and rumors about iPhone 7.
