Speculations surrounding what’s going to come out of Apple’s box in 2015 are really high. Though the same assumptions and guesswork kick off prior to the beginning of such important conferences, but for obvious reasons Apple’s conference is going to an edge over others. Among the range of products that we are speculating Apple to unveil next month mention must be made of its next generation mobile operating platform iOS 9, the integration of the live music streaming app in iOS 9 christened Beat, the Apple TV and many more. The official date of the conference has been already announced by Apple which is from 8th to 12th June, 2015 in San Francisco.
Here is a round up on what we can expect from WWDC 2015 after taking into consideration all the announcement made by Apple so far:
WWDC 2015 is going to be hosted in San Francisco’s Moscone West. This year Apple has designed the schedule of the conference in a way so that the developers attending the conference get more opportunity to interact with Apple’s engineers. This year the number of sessions that the developers can attend in the course of these four days has been increased. There will be about 100 technical sessions where the developers can interact with in house engineers. In addition, in house labs will be also present this year that will help developers to get a better understanding of the latest technologies used by Apple and calibrate their app for iOS platform accordingly. The best apps for the iOS platform that have been developed by others will be showcased in the Apple Design Awards.
We have also tipped that developers attending the conference will get a better idea about the technology used and the working principle of iOS and OS X as this would help the developers to increase the functionality of the apps developed by them and fine tune them accordingly.
As for the products that we are expecting Apple to unveil in this conference, let us first mention about the very obvious one first. Tech geeks all over the cyber space are pretty sure that Apple is going to introduce iOS 9, the next generation platform to the world in this conference. In the preceding years Apple has introduced iOS platforms in the WWDC and we are expecting Apple to follow the same trend this year as well. As far as the updates that we are expecting to see in iOS 9, we must mention about the updated Siri. The latest Siri is expected to be a bit more colorful, closely resembling the Siri of Apple’s smartwatch. To add on to that we are also expecting inclusion of advanced security features in the latest platform.
Next comes the Beat music streaming app. There is lot of controversy as to whether Beat music streaming app will be unveiled in the WWDC or not. While 9to5Mac reporters are quite confident that this app will be introduced in WWDC, but Billboard another authority in genre speaks otherwise. There are also reports regarding the inclusion of Beat Music and iTunes 12.2 will be a part of the update of iOS 8.4 and for using this service users will be charged 10$/month.
Lastly, Apple TV update is also expected to be unveiled in the WWDC conference. The remote control of Apple TV has been redesigned. It will be thicker in comparison to the last version, comes with two buttons and has a special feature i.e. a touch pad. Using the touch pad the users can scroll through the various apps. Since the release of the second generation Apple TV, there have been no major updates in the Apple TV. So we are eagerly waiting to see whether Apple TV comes with an update this time or not. Techies are also speculating that Apple TV’s remote might come with Siri and users might also get the opportunity to third party apps on Apple TV.
That’s all for now, stay tuned for further updates.
