The year 2013 witnessed Apple breaking its tradition of releasing one phone in a year and launching two flagship phones within short interval. Next year also, we are expecting the release of not one, but two iPhones. The first being iPhone 6 which has already created a lot of buzz wing to the cutting edge features that we are expecting in it and next is iPhone 7. News regarding iPhone 7 has surfaced lately, after a meeting of Apple’s who’s who with the investor. Insiders have tipped the reporters that Apple is planning introduce technology whereby it can hasten the release of its product line.
That being said, we can assume that iPhone 6 might be released much earlier than the date we were contemplating it launch and thereafter we will get to see another flagship from brand Apple i.e. iPhone 7. Katy Huberty, the experienced and pro analyst of Morgan Stanley has made us belief that Apple has refurbished and set up a stage for faster release of iPhones. Generally, such information is circulated by sources in the supply chain, but Katy Huberty tipped the reporters about faster release of iPhones after a meeting with CEO Time Cook and CFO Peter Oppenheimer of Apple.
However, Ms Huberty didn’t elaborate about how Apple is planning to go about the new objective of the company or didn’t even quote what the company’s who’s who has to say on this regard. Therefore, we can contemplate that we will get to see two iPhones i.e. 6 as well as 7 just as we have seen in 2012 when iPad 3 and 4 were launched with a short interval of time.
However, last time this marketing strategy of releasing two iPads at the same time didn’t work well in the favour of the company. Therefore, this time Apple has to undertake a thorough market survey and alienate all the tendencies that might be against its product release. The strategy of dual release works perfectly well for Samsung as they release two different smartphones within a short interval of time. Therefore, Apple needs to device such a policy so that it can market its product well in the global market. We are expecting iPhone 7 to be a normal 4 to 5 inch smartphone with more or less all the advanced features as present in iPhone 6. We will keep on updating our readers as soon as we get to hear the latest news.
