The iOS 7 was released recently and it will be made available to the Apple users from today itself. A few days back it was launched in an event where the CEO of the brand commented that iOS 7 is the “biggest change since the iPhone”. There is no denying the fact the new interface is much better as far as its looks, features and interactivity is concerned. We got the opportunity to look at the beta version of the OS before its actual release and after scanning it thoroughly we feel that there is still scope for some improvements that we expect to see in iOS 8. Here are some of the innovations that we expect to see in iOS 8:
Improvised Apps Management
iOS 7 takes automatic update that is one of its positive feature but developers have to literally struggle with iCloud app for storing their data and for retrieving them. Moreover, the users should get automated alerts of new apps. These are the two improvements that users will definitely expect in iOS 8.
Users Should be Given Full Liberty to Choose Apps
Apple users are burdened with a lot of Apple’s own apps for connecting to internet, email and other for doing other activities. This is one feature which omnipresent in all version of iOS and we would like Apple to give us the liberty to choose the apps that we want to use and make our phone clutter free. So in iOS 8 we will definitely like to see a hide default app feature.
Better Communication Between Different Apps
Working in different application across your iPhone is really scary as in most cases we tend to lose the last saved docs. In iOS 8 we expect to see better inter application communication.
Include a Guest Account
Our phone is definitely a personal thing and others should not be able to access it. However, Apple has taken this idea too literally by not letting any other person access the phone except for its owner. We expect Apple to develop a guest account whereby a guest can access your phone without changing any settings.
More Options to Stop Notifications
In iOS7 the options for stopping unwanted notifications have been definitely increased. If your phone is locked, then no notifications are going to bother the user. But there is no way to customize notifications for the weekdays or the weekends. We are expecting the iOS 8 to come with such customizing options so that the users can manage their phone in a much better way.

Group Video Chat
Face Time is undoubtedly one of the coolest features of iOS platform. But there is only option for one to one phone video chat on it. The iOS 8 should have group video chat option integrated in its Face Time apps.
Improvised System for Management of Docs
Attaching mails from your iPhone is extremely difficult as most of the documents are stored in Dropbox. Therefore in iOS 8 we would like to see an application where we can store and from where we can access our documents easily. That would make the iPhone a lot more smart and user friendly.
User-friendly Text Handling
Cut, copy, paste and selecting text are some of the basic actions that users would need while handling docs from their phone. However, this feature of iPhone is really awkward and it continues to be so in iOS 7 as well. Therefore, we expect to see a major overhaul of this feature in iOS 8.
Use Two Apps At A Time
Though iPhone’s screen resolution is the best amongst all the smartphone, but it would be rather helpful if we are being provided with the option of using two apps from the screen. We hope the developers will incorporate all these features in the next iPhone to make it a lot better than the iOS 7.
These are the improvised features that we expect to see in iOS 8, which is expected to release next year. Of course there would a lot more out of the box features but these are the improvisation that we expect in iOS 8.
